.Crossword

Crossword is the official music video to the song of the same name by the Austrian indie band Deckchair Orange. It is a digital Cut-Out Animation that gives us a glimpse into the life in a fictional city while the camera is flying gently through the street canyons.
As the summer sun rises we pass a woman who is hanging up her laundry while a kitten is purring on a window pane and we bear witness to a burglary conducted by an acrobatic thief who escapes unseen from the crimescene with delicate moves.
But while we watch this we have already missed the Mariachi in the street below, playing a lovely tune that is only drowned by the cheering of the freshly married bride who is looking out of the roof of the stretch limousine in which she is starting her honeymoon.
And while another woman is watering her flowers (much to the annoyance of her neighbour below) the couple in the house behind her is having a fight about a flaming red brassiere that doesn't seem to belong to the lady. But after all this is not so tragic in the bigger picture since love is never far away.
We'll probably never know why the man on the street is exposing himself and what exactly the deal is with the dog and the carrier pigeon because fall is approaching and the camera is already at the next scene where a jailbreak is happening! Suddenly the weather is changing and it starts to rain heavily.
The stork has had enough, he is leaving the nest but the fly fisherman is still waiting for the fish to bite regardless if it's raining or not. The rain turns to snow and the camera takes us back to the house that was robbed where the owner is hysterical but not for long, since help is on the way by no one other than the dynamic duo!
Everything is alright in the end. Not even the cow abducting UFO raises as much as an eyebrow because spring is finally here.

We love DCO.
